Welcome to Ms. Pigue's Fifth Grade Corner

     Hello, my name is Lauren Pigue and I am so excited to now have a contact tool that allows interaction between parents, students, and teacher. I am a 2009 graduate of Lambuth University, and I am currently working on my Masters in Education at Union University. This is my first year to teach and I am eager to see what unfolds throughout the term. My philosophy can be summed into a simple phrase: "2 Teach is 2 Touch Lives 4ever." When I signed my contract to teach I signed up to be a mentor, a source of comfort, a role-model, and an educator. Teachers are more than just teachers, they are lifesavers. Also, I am an avid believer that there is a variety of learning molds, and that it is my duty as an instructor to recognize a child's mold and to fill it with knowledge and enrichment that carries him/her along his/her pathway. I am dedicated to my title and I am loyal to my students. I know that I have chosen the correct career and I hope that others can share in my joy!
